Hello world!

Qigong is a powerful moving meditation which improves health, vitality, and sense of well-being. After attending an August 2010 workshop led by Dr. Roger Jahnke, my husband Bill and I both felt great and wanted to make Qigong an integral part of our lives. We attended the first session of a 200-hour teacher training in Wimberly, TX, hosted by the Institute for Integral Qigong & Tai Chi (IIQTC) and led by Dr. Jankhe.

Practicing for a week with 20 fellow trainees was a transforming experience. Many of us felt our relationship to space and time had deepened, in addition to feeling better overall. Since I seem to be at a crossroad in life (see “About”), my goal is to practice one hour a day for one year. I will record my thoughts and experiences along the way, and in so doing, hope to inspire others to practice Qigong.
